 Mark
L. Faupel, Ph.D., President, Chief Executive Officer and Director.
Dr. Faupel has more than 20 years of experience as
a senior executive developing non-invasive alternatives to surgical biopsies and
blood tests, especially in the area of cancer screening and diagnostics. Prior
to coming to Guided Therapeutics in 1998 as Vice President of Business Development Guided Therapeutics, Dr. Faupel was a senior executive and
co-founder of Biofield Corp.
He is the inventor on 15 U.S. patents and author of numerous scientific
publications and presentations, appearing in such peer-reviewed journals as The
Lancet, Cancer, The European Journal of Radiology and Diabetes Technology &
Therapeutics. He has served as a member of the European School of Oncology Task
Force and on National Institutes of Health review panels. Dr. Faupel earned his
Ph.D. in neuroanatomy and physiology from the University of Georgia.

 Richard
L. Fowler, Sr. Vice-president, Engineering and Corporate Secretary.
Mr. Fowler is responsible for identifying new
technical and business opportunities for Guided Therapeutics. These opportunities include
new technologies, product lines or business acquisitions that are strategic to
the Company's business. Mr. Fowler was formerly VP of Engineering at Guided
Therapeutics
where he oversaw the successful development of the BiliChek® Non-invasive Bilirubin Analyzer.
Mr. Fowler has more than 20 years experience in developing and bringing to
market electro-optical devices. Prior to joining Guided Therapeutics, Mr. Fowler was
President of Laser Atlanta Optics, Inc. where he developed and launched a new,
low-cost laser range finder. He has also held management positions with GEC
Avionics, Inc. and General Dynamics. Mr. Fowler holds a degree in Electrical
Engineering from the University of Texas.

 Shabbir
Bambot, Ph.D. Vice President, Research and Development.
Dr. Bambot has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the
University of Pittsburgh and has 15 years of experience
in medical diagnostics product development. He has been
instrumental in the successful launch of two
point-of-care medical diagnostic products, the AVL/Roche
OPTI 2® blood chemistry analyzer and the
Guided Therapeutics BiliChek® Non-invasive Bilirubin
Analyzer.
Dr. Bambot joined
Guided Therapeutics in 1997 and currently manages the development of
the cervical cancer diagnostics product as well as other
projects related to the Guided Therapeutics ISF sampling technology.
He is responsible for identifying new technical and
business opportunities for Guided Therapeutics. Dr. Bambot has
several patents, publications and presentations in the
areas of clinical monitoring and diagnostics and is the
recipient of multiple NIH SBIR grants totaling in excess
of $3.5 million for developing non-invasive diagnostic
devices. He supports the clinical and regulatory process
as well interacting with the FDA on regulatory filings
and compliance. He is a frequent reviewer of scientific
papers and NIH grant applications and chairs symposia at
scientific meetings.
